Karu Palaniappan's launch film as hero titled ‘Mandhira Punnahai is happening on Wednesday (October 20) at PVR Cinemas in Chennai.

Rama Narayanan, Sivasakthi Pandian, RK Selvamani will preside over the function. Guest invitees would be TG Thyagarajan and Abirami Ramanathan. Other chief guest list includes Lingusamy, Hari, Balaji Sakthivel, Vasanthabalan, SP Jananathan, Sasikumar, Samuthirakani and Sonia Agarwal.

‘Mandhira Punnahai’ is a matured love story told differently. Karu Palaniappan who made inimitable films like Parthiban Kanavu and Pirivom Santhippom is upbeat with the response so far.

The hero of the day’s event will be Vidyasagar who is Karu’s unit music director. Arivumathi, Yuga Bjarathi and Viveka have written the lyrics.

Indhira Pictures ‘Mandhira Punnahai’ stars its director Karu Palaniappan and Meenakshi in lead roles. Comedian Santhanam and Rishi play the other important roles. The film is looking for release in December.
